As well as having been a business analyst for about 15 years and a communications specialist for around 5, I am a writer, amateur digital photographer, designer and pencil color artist. I'm from Massachusetts, and the Mediterranean where I lived and traveled in the 1960s and mid 1970s. I am also part Chinese, by cultural absorption; I speak fluent Mandarin with some reading and writing, having spent two years in China in the late 1970s and early 1980s studying Chinese and learning about the wisdom embodied in their ancient lineage. All that was a long time ago.
Now I reside in the pristine state of North Carolina, between vast mountain ranges and a long exquisite coast line called the Outerbanks. I call this "The Promised Land" because so many people from all over the world have moved here to pursue their dreams. It is a very creative state - a thriving artisan community at the shore, the center and the mountains. You'll see more art here in public spaces and on people's lawns than I've seen any where except for Paris. I moved to North Carolina in the early 2000s.
